Commitment
To fulfill our commitment to create a vibrant community, we need volunteers. ACS asks that each family donate just 20 hours of time throughout the year toward activities that enrich the lives of our children and school community, including at least one 4-hour shift at the ACS Thrift Store.

Flexibility
There are several ways to earn stewardship hours, including some that can be done from home. We understand that sometimes it is difficult to find extra time for anything, especially for working or single parents. Contact a board member if you need additional consideration.

Donations
In addition to volunteering, you can earn “hours” through donations for classroom activities and supplies, and with goods and gift card donations to help support other events, like Bingo Night and Gala. Every $15 donation = 1 hour!

Fine Print
Items purchased as teacher/staff appreciation gifts do not contribute to the stewardship commitment. If you know you cannot meet your stewardship commitment with a combination of volunteer activities and classroom/event donations, you can elect to make a one-time donation of $300, directly to the school office, before April 1st.
