Google CS First is a web-based program that exposes students to computer science through video tutorials and modules that students participate in an after-school program. Designed for grades 4-5, the club teaches students about computer science and coding in a hands-on, learning-by-doing way.
All the coding activities use Scratch, a kid-friendly programming language.
Google CS First’s modules are engaging and cover a variety of themes, making the program enticing to students with varying interests: Music & Sound, Game Design, Storytelling, Art, Social Media, Friends, and Fashion & Design.
Classes are held one day a week in our computer lab. No experience necessary.
