School Newspaper

The school newspaper, The Eagle Express, is an extracurricular activity offered to interested Middle School students. The newspaper, which is published several times a year, features, “school news” articles, interviews and surveys, and original student works such as poetry and short stories.

Students who join the school newspaper staff are provided with many opportunities to polish their interviewing and writing skills. Under the direction of a teacher mentor, students learn about writing to meet a deadline, submitting drafts for approval, and final editing.
